The series is an epic rollercoaster ride about the choices we make with the crap tools we are handed. Sometimes violent, often hilarious and tragic and with raw emotion throughout, it is a story that explores the universal tension between freedom and responsibility and the fundamental cost of our innate desire to ‘be somebody’ and to ‘do something meaningful’ with our lives.

Like Jimmy in QUADROPHENIA they search for meaning, idols and role models; wanting more than what a lifetime of hard work will afford them. And like OUR FRIENDS IN THE NORTH, the personal lives of the bikers become intertwined with the political and social struggles of their home.
Killhope Cross is not just an account of an immoral, self-destructive megalomaniac working his way up the underworld ladder pitted against the morally and ethically superior rise of his girlfriend. It is the story of the alienation of British working-class youth – men and women – that is still relevant today.
