The story is dominated by three generations of women in one family and, through them, explores the lies we tell others – and ourselves – in order to navigate our day-to-day lives with our dignity and confidence intact. It delves into the blurred boundaries of modern criminality and morality and the negative way in which women, particularly, judge one another.
Ultimately, however, Mis-Shapes is a story full of warmth, heart and humour about family relationships, tolerance and making peace with who you are and where you’re from.
